Ioannina Municipality hosts interactive children's theatre tour

The Municipality of Ioannina's Culture Directorate is presenting a touring interactive theatrical production titled ‘Sorry for the noise, but we are going to play ball!’ across ten communities within the municipality from August 20 to 31.

Produced by Ison Theatrical Projects in collaboration with Another Football, the performance is designed for children aged 4 to 12 and their families. Based on a children's book by Vasilis Kostakis and Another Football, the play uses football as a metaphor to discuss themes of cooperation, inclusion, diversity, and fair play.

The production aims to transform the audience from passive observers into active participants. Through the story of characters Antigoni and Beno, who seek space to play in a concrete-filled city, the play emphasizes that community strength and teamwork can transform abandoned spaces into places of hope and joy.
