Ion Izagirre wins 23rd Memorial Marco Pantani cycling race

Ion Izagirre won the 23rd edition of the Memorial Marco Pantani, a professional cycling race covering 192.5 kilometers through the Emilia-Romagna region. Following a decisive climb on the Muro di via Felloniche, Izagirre secured victory in a four-man sprint in Cesenatico.

Giulio Pellizzari finished in second place, followed by Mikkel Frølich Honoré in third. The defending champion, Michael Storer, finished fourth. The race route included significant climbs such as Passo del Grillo and Gorolo, and concluded with a symbolic passage past the former home of Marco Pantani.
