Ionic Digital seeks Nasdaq direct listing to give Celsius creditors market
Ionic Digital has filed a registration statement for a direct listing on the Nasdaq Global Select Market under the ticker IOND. The filing creates a public trading venue for the company's existing shares, which were issued to former Celsius Network creditors as part of the lender’s bankruptcy restructuring.
The Texas‑based company is shifting from pure‑play Bitcoin mining to providing artificial‑intelligence and high‑performance‑computing infrastructure. Its 234‑megawatt Ward County property has been leased to AI provider Nscale for a 126‑month term, delivering nearly $2 billion in contracted revenue, with the potential to expand to $2.6 billion.
Ionic completed a $400 million equity private placement, which it will use for general corporate purposes, including further development of its digital‑infrastructure platform. In the first quarter of 2026, the firm reported $44 million in digital‑infrastructure leasing revenue and $7.4 million in mining revenue, reflecting the ongoing transition. CEO Andy Stewart said the financing “strengthens Ionic Digital’s capital base and supports the continued development of our digital infrastructure platform.”
