IonQ reports 287% revenue growth in Q2 2026

IonQ reported second-quarter 2026 revenue of $80.1 million, representing a 287% increase from the previous year. The company's performance exceeded internal expectations by 20%, marking its fifth consecutive quarter of record results.

Driven by demand for fifth-generation quantum computing systems, IonQ raised its full-year standalone revenue outlook to between $280 million and $290 million. This guidance excludes the recent $1.8 billion acquisition of SkyWater Technology, as management works to integrate operations.

Key deployments include the shipment of subsystems to the Korea Institute of Science and Technology Information (KISTI) in South Korea. Additionally, the company is performing final assembly on a fifth-generation system at QuantumBasel in Switzerland.
