Ionuț Moșteanu alleges flight delay in Timișoara was to accommodate PSD members

Ionuț Moșteanu, a member of the USR party and former Minister of National Defense, has alleged that a flight departing from Timișoara was delayed by one hour to wait for specific passengers.

According to a Facebook post by Moșteanu, the aircraft was full by 18:35 but remained on the ground until 19:30. He stated that crew members informed him the delay was due to passengers who had not yet presented themselves, noting that while most late passengers miss their flights, there are exceptions. Moșteanu suggested these exceptions might involve members of the PSD party, citing the high concentration of PSD leaders in Timișoara that weekend for a social event.

The social gathering in Timișoara included several high-ranking PSD officials, such as Marcel Ciolacu and various government ministers. Moșteanu’s comments have drawn significant social media attention, including criticism and skepticism from users regarding the accuracy of his claims.
