Pescara's 'La Notte dei Serpenti' draws 50,000 attendees in fifth edition

The fifth edition of the concert series "La Notte dei Serpenti" took place on 25 July 2026 at the Stadio del Mare in Pescara, attracting around 50,000 spectators. The event, conceived and directed by Maestro Enrico Melozzi, was promoted by the Regione Abruzzo and endorsed by President Marco Marsilio.

A diverse line‑up featured artists such as Antonia, Baby K, Bambole di Pezza, Clementino, Mr Rain, Patty Pravo and Raf, all backed by the Orchestra dei Serpenti and a women‑only choir. For the first time, the show included a dedicated Over‑80 tribune to improve accessibility for senior audience members. The concert will be broadcast in prime time on Rai 1 on 4 September, extending its reach nationally. Organisers highlighted the event’s role in promoting Abruzzo’s musical heritage, dialects, folk dances and contemporary sounds, while social‑media metrics recorded over 12 million combined views on Facebook and Instagram.
