Iovance and Verbio stocks face pressure despite mixed financial updates

Iovance Biotherapeutics saw its stock decline by 8.7% to €11.50 on Tuesday as investors engaged in profit-taking following a recent rally. The company had previously boosted its 2026 revenue guidance to a range of $410 million to $420 million, up from a previous target of $370 million, driven by strong US demand for its cancer therapies Amtagvi and Proleukin. Additionally, H. C. Wainwright raised its price target for the stock from $9 to $20 and maintained a ‘Buy’ rating. The company also announced Noah Berkowitz as its new Chief Medical Officer.

Verbio, a biofuel producer, experienced a decline in share price, reaching a six-month low. Despite reporting strong fiscal year 2025/26 results—including an 18% revenue increase to €1.87 billion and an EBITDA of approximately €194 million that exceeded forecasts—the stock faced selling pressure. This reaction was attributed to the company's EBITDA guidance for the 2026/27 fiscal year, which fell below market expectations. Verbio also proposed a dividend of €0.20 per share following a 40% reduction in net debt.
