Iowa City hosts flea markets and fall music concerts

Iowa City is hosting several cultural and musical events this season. A recent flea market co-hosted by Iowa City Flea and SCOPE Productions brought over 25 vendors to Hubbard Park. The event featured vintage clothing, handmade jewelry, pottery, and upcycled items, attracting hundreds of University of Iowa students and local residents despite rainy weather.

Additionally, the fall music season in Iowa City includes several high-profile performances. Upcoming scheduled acts include folk rock singer-songwriter Ray LaMontagne at Hancher Auditorium on September 1, the alternative rock band Gin Blossoms at the Hy-Vee Amphitheater on September 13, and the heavy metal band Soulfly at Wildwood Smokehouse and Saloon on September 25.
