Democratic candidates in Iowa are seeing increased momentum in both Senate and gubernatorial races. Recent polling data indicates that Turek holds a lead over Republican opponent Ashley Hinson, with one Marist poll showing Turek at 50 percent compared to Hinson’s 42 percent. Additionally, Democratic gubernatorial candidate Rob Sand is showing strength in polls, leading Republican Zach Lahn with 54 percent to 42 percent according to the same Marist survey. While these figures suggest a potential shift in Iowa's political landscape, Republican campaigns have dismissed the polling accuracy.
