Iowa running back Kamari Moulton ruled out for remainder of season

Iowa Hawkeyes star running back Kamari Moulton will miss the rest of the football season due to an upper-body injury. Head coach Kirk Ferentz confirmed the news during a Tuesday press conference, following Moulton's exit during the second quarter of Iowa's 13-10 loss to Minnesota.

Moulton, a senior, has recorded 541 rushing yards and four touchdowns through six games this season. His recent performances included a career-high 208-yard, three-touchdown game against Washington. Over his four-year career at Iowa, he has accumulated 1,985 rushing yards and 14 touchdowns.

With Moulton sidelined, the Hawkeyes are expected to rely on junior Xavier Williams, along with L.J. Phillips, Nathan McNeil, and Braeden Jackson, to bolster the rushing attack for the remainder of the campaign.
