Iowa State Announces 2026 Soccer Schedule and Highlights 2027 Football Recruiting Class

Iowa State men's soccer coach Matt Fannon released the Cyclones' 2026 schedule, outlining 19 regular‑season games that feature 11 home matches. The season opens with a home exhibition against Minnesota on Aug. 5, followed by a road trip to Omaha and a series of home contests against Kansas City, Creighton, Iowa, UNI, Missouri State and others before Big 12 action begins on Sept. 17.

In football, new head coach Jimmy Rogers has begun rebuilding the program after the departure of Matt Campbell. The 2027 recruiting class, ranked 49th nationally by Rivals, includes four‑star recruit Chuck Alexander, running back Isaiah Hansen and offensive lineman Will Slagle.
