Iowa State Athletics celebrates Cyclone Club and soccer victory

Iowa State Athletics is hosting its sixth annual Cyclone Club Day of Honor during an upcoming football game against SEMO. The event aims to recognize the approximately 7,800 members of the Cyclone Club for their financial support and loyalty. Athletics Director Jamie Pollard noted that annual giving and season ticket purchases are essential to the department's budget.

In recent fiscal activity, Iowa State Athletics reported record-breaking fundraising, generating $52.7 million in total gifts. This includes $21.1 million in annual fund giving through the Cyclone Club, surpassing the previous record of $41.7 million set in 2020.

In women’s soccer, the Iowa State Cyclones secured a 5-0 victory over the UNI Panthers. Following a recent loss to Iowa, the team utilized a high-powered offense to score multiple goals in the first half, including contributions from Sophie Forrester, Alaina Villa, and Ava Hancock.
