Iowa State hosts Southeast Missouri State in home football opener

The Iowa State Cyclones are hosting the Southeast Missouri State Redhawks at Jack Trice Stadium in Ames, Iowa. The matchup is available exclusively via streaming on ESPN’s platforms, such as ESPN Select or ESPN Unlimited, rather than through traditional broadcast television.

As part of the game day traditions, the Iowa State University Cyclone Football “Varsity” Marching Band performs the “Step Show” on the steps of the Alumni Center approximately 90 minutes before kickoff. This performance includes music from the color guard and selections from the band's halftime show, followed by a parade formation that marches the musicians from the Alumni Center to the stadium.
