Iowa State women's soccer draws 1-1 with Loyola Maryland

The Iowa State women's soccer team concluded its non-conference schedule with a 1-1 draw against Loyola Maryland in Baltimore. The Greyhounds opened the scoring in the fifth minute with a goal from Savannah Manset, but the Cyclones responded quickly. Sophie Forrester equalized just 20 seconds later following an assist from Makenna Marshall.

Despite controlling much of the match with an 18-9 shot advantage and four corner kicks, Iowa State was unable to find a winning goal. The result marks the second draw of the season for the Cyclones as they prepare to begin Big 12 conference play.
