IPA SP announces 98 scientific researcher vacancies

The Environmental Research Institute of São Paulo (IPA SP) has released a public notice for 98 vacancies for the position of Scientific Researcher I, Category A. The roles cover approximately 50 areas of specialization, including Agroecology, Climatology, Biodiversity, and Plant Taxonomy.

Selected candidates will receive a monthly salary of R$ 9,052.47 for a 40-hour weekly schedule under a full-time, exclusive dedication regime. The positions are located at various IPA units in São Paulo, including Jardim Botânico, Horto, and Vila Mariana.

Applications are managed by Fundação Vunesp and will be open from November 18 to December 22. The selection process includes objective and essay exams scheduled for February 14, 2027, as well as a title evaluation. A 5% quota is reserved for people with disabilities, and there is a differentiated scoring system for Black, mixed-race, and Indigenous applicants.
