IPACULT concludes “Crónicas de la Piel” with live body paint demonstration

The Institute for Culture of the Municipality of Juárez (IPACULT) concluded the “Crónicas de la Piel” (Skin Canvas Collective) photographic exhibition with a live body paint demonstration. Held at the Germán Valdés Tin Tan Art Room, the event allowed citizens to observe the creative process of transforming the human body into a canvas using various painting techniques.

Ogla Liset Olivas, director general of IPACULT, stated that the municipal government aims to strengthen the connection between cultural spaces and the public through participatory activities. The event was designed to introduce people of all ages to the work of local body paint artists and foster interest in diverse artistic expressions within Ciudad Juárez.

David Zapien, the exhibition coordinator, noted the positive public response since its opening. The demonstration highlighted the ephemeral nature of body paint, an art form where the work exists on the body for a limited time before being preserved through photography.
