IPARK Hyundai Development Company reports surge in Q2 operating profit

IPARK Hyundai Development Company reported a significant increase in financial performance for the second quarter, achieving a consolidated revenue of 914.6 billion won and an operating profit of 122.7 billion won. This marks the first time in approximately five years, since the second quarter of 2021, that the company’s single-quarter operating profit has exceeded 100 billion won.

The company achieved two consecutive quarters of double-digit operating profit margins, recording 11.9% in the first quarter and 13.4% in the second quarter. This growth was driven by high-margin self-developed housing projects, such as Seoul One IPARK, and improved cost structures in outsourced housing sectors through appropriate contract adjustments following rising construction costs.

In addition to profitability, the company reported improved financial stability. Net debt has decreased to approximately 800 billion won, and project financing (PF) contingent liabilities have fallen by more than 30% to 1.2876 trillion won. To enhance shareholder value, the company announced plans to acquire and cancel approximately 1.5 million treasury shares, valued at 30 billion won.

Looking ahead, the company aims to supply 13,000 units annually and plans to launch several large-scale mega projects in the fourth quarter, including the Bokjeong Station area development and projects in Yongsan and Jamsil.
