Ipasme launches national affiliation drive for teachers
The Institute of Social Welfare and Assistance for Ministry of Education Personnel (Ipasme) has announced a national operation for the affiliation and renewal of identification cards for educators and their families. This initiative aims to guarantee comprehensive medical care and social protection for education workers across Venezuela.
In Caracas, document reception will take place on the ground floor of the Don Simón Rodríguez Medical Unit. Teachers residing in other parts of the country can complete the process at their local medical headquarters.
Applicants must submit a yellow folder containing a signed application form, a copy of their current employer-issued ID, and photocopies of the identity cards for both the holder and all beneficiaries. Specific documentation is required based on employment status, such as retirement resolutions for retirees or disability forms for pensioners. Requirements for beneficiaries vary by relationship, including marriage certificates for spouses and university enrollment certificates for children aged 18 to 25.
