IPC Systems receives SBTi validation for net-zero emissions targets
IPC Systems, Inc., a global provider of financial communications and trading connectivity, has had its greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions reduction targets validated by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi).
The validation confirms that the company’s near-term and net-zero targets align with SBTi criteria, including a commitment to achieve net-zero emissions across its entire value chain by 2050. This commitment covers scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions, encompassing the company’s own operations, purchased goods and services, and the use of products delivered to customers.
As financial institutions face increasing pressure from regulators and investors to account for climate impact, the validation provides independently assessed, science-aligned data for IPC’s more than 750 global clients, which include the majority of trading desks at the top 100 global banks.
