iPhone 17 standard model provides high satisfaction after downgrade from Pro Max

A Tom's Guide writer, Arif Bacchus, shared his experience transitioning from an iPhone 15 Pro Max to a standard iPhone 17. Despite the move being a technical downgrade in terms of storage and advanced camera features, the user found the experience highly satisfactory.

Key improvements in the standard model that mitigated the downgrade include the inclusion of ProMotion technology and ultra-thin bezels. Although the screen size decreased from 6.7 inches to 6.3 inches, the slim bezels allowed for a comparable content viewing experience. The switch was noted as a practical way to reduce financial pressure while still meeting daily performance needs.
