iPhone 18 Pro Max faces supply shortages in Vietnam
One week after its official launch in Vietnam, the iPhone 18 Pro Max is experiencing significant supply shortages. Demand is particularly high for the 256GB and 512GB storage capacities, especially in the new Burgundy Red and Glacier Blue color options. This supply-demand imbalance has led to higher prices on the free market, with some retailers offering the Burgundy Red 256GB model for approximately 47 million VND, roughly 5 million VND above the official retail price.
In contrast to the scarcity of the Pro Max model, the iPhone 18 Pro remains widely available across retail systems.
Meanwhile, the launch of the iPhone 18 series has triggered price shifts in older models. The iPhone 15 has seen a substantial price drop, becoming a highly sought-after budget-friendly option. New units of the iPhone 15 128GB are currently priced between 17.49 and 19.79 million VND, while used models can be found for as low as 10 to 12 million VND. This represents a decrease of over 50% compared to its original launch price.
