IPM-JP conducts monthly life proof for retirees in João Pessoa

The Municipal Institute of Social Security of João Pessoa (IPM-JP) is conducting its monthly 'Prova de Vida' (Life Proof) process for the city's retired civil servants and pensioners. The initiative aims to verify the status of beneficiaries to prevent improper payments.

Superintendent Caroline Agra stated that the institute performs an average of 350 updates per month. To facilitate the process, the IPM-JP sends WhatsApp messages to beneficiaries during their birth month, inviting them to update their records.

The institute currently serves 6,386 retirees and 1,631 pensioners, totaling 8,017 beneficiaries. For individuals with limited mobility or those who are bedridden, the IPM-JP offers home visits by social workers, provided a medical report confirming the incapacity is presented.
