IPMU wins national award for pension management best practices

The Municipal Pension Institute of Ubatuba (IPMU) has secured first place in the 17th National Best Practices Award organized by the National Association of Municipal Pension Entities (Aneprem). Competing in the medium-sized category, the institute achieved a perfect score of 660 points across 33 criteria, including governance, pension management, internal controls, transparency, communication, innovation, and sustainability.

This recognition follows a series of recent accolades for the entity. In 2025, IPMU received top honors from the Brazilian Association of State and Municipal Pension Institutions (Abipem) for pension responsibility, investments, and governance. Additionally, the institute earned second place for pension innovation through its ‘From Knowledge to Excellence’ project and third place in national investments within the medium-sized category.
