IPROSS expands healthcare services in Río Negro

The Río Negro Provincial Health Institute (IPROSS) has expanded its healthcare services through two major initiatives. In San Carlos de Bariloche, IPROSS has incorporated INTECNUS into its network of diagnostic imaging providers. This allows affiliates in the Bariloche and Andean region to access ultrasounds, CT scans, MRIs, and X-rays locally, reducing the need to travel to other urban centers. INTECNUS previously collaborated with IPROSS regarding oncological radiotherapy.

Additionally, IPROSS reported supporting 31 medically assisted reproduction treatments between 2025 and early 2026. The coverage includes 100% of hormonal medication and 80% of the procedures. Of the 31 treatments, 30 involved high-complexity techniques such as In Vitro Fertilization (IVF), Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection (ICSI), and the ROPA method. Three of these treatments have already resulted in births.
