Ipswich Town and Nottingham Forest face off at Portman Road

Ipswich Town is set to host Nottingham Forest at Portman Road this Friday in a Premier League matchup between two sides seeking stability. Both teams enter the fixture following recent struggles to secure points in the league.

Ipswich Town, managed by Gary O'Neil, has shown offensive potential but continues to struggle with defensive consistency, having yet to record a clean sheet in their first nine attempts across all competitions. Key personnel updates include the expected return of Sasa Lukic to the starting lineup to provide central balance, while Jack Taylor remains sidelined due to injury. Summer signings Exequiel Palacios and Zian Flemming are also expected to feature.

Nottingham Forest arrives seeking to break a streak of three consecutive league losses. While the team has demonstrated statistical strength in creating chances, they have faced difficulties in clinical finishing. The squad is expected to see the return of Morgan Gibbs-White from injury, providing a boost to their creative options, though players such as Savona and Igor Jesus remain unavailable.
