Ipswich Town defeats Fulham 2-1 with late comeback
Ipswich Town secured a dramatic 2-1 comeback victory against Fulham at Portman Road, fueled by two late goals in the closing stages of the match. Ryan Sessegnon initially put Fulham ahead in the 55th minute with a precise strike, appearing to set the Cottagers on their way to a first Premier League win of the season under manager Alvaro Arbeloa.
However, Ipswich mounted a late offensive. Abdoul Ouattara equalized in the 88th minute with a powerful long-range effort. In stoppage time, captain Dara O’Shea sealed the win with a header from a Jack Clarke free-kick. The result moves Ipswich up to ninth in the Premier League table, while Fulham remains in the relegation zone with only two points from six matches.
Separately, Ipswich Town has unveiled its new £30 million reconstructed training center at Playford Road. The high-tech facility features advanced medical technology, including bone density scanners, a specialized recovery center with hyperbaric chambers, and a unique hydration monitoring system integrated into the facilities.
