Iqbaal Ramadhan to produce film ‘Operasi Pesta Copet’

Actor Iqbaal Ramadhan has expanded his role in the film industry by serving as a producer for the upcoming film ‘Operasi Pesta Copet’. The project is a collaboration between production houses Imajinari and Anginsegar, with a scheduled release date of August 27, 2026.

During a press conference at XXI Plaza Senayan, Ramadhan shared that this role fulfills a long-held ambition. He noted that in a 2015 scholarship essay, he had written about his desire to become both a music and film producer. In addition to producing, Ramadhan will play the lead character, Ijal, and will also contribute as a writer, soundtrack singer, and merchandise designer.

Ramadhan, who began his career in the entertainment industry at age nine, cited industry mentors such as producer Mira Lesmana as inspiration for his transition to behind-the-scenes work.
