iQOO announces flagship smartphone launches in China and India

iQOO has confirmed the launch of the Neo 12 flagship smartphone in China, scheduled for October 28. The device is expected to feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, a Q3 gaming chip, and a 9000mAh single-cell battery. Additional specifications include a 2K resolution display with a 185Hz refresh rate, 2200 nits peak brightness, a built-in cooling fan, and a 3D ultrasonic fingerprint sensor.

Separately, the iQOO 16 is expected to launch in the Indian market in late November or December 2026. This model is anticipated to utilize the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 processor and a massive 8,400mAh silicon-anode battery. The device is rumored to feature a 6.85-inch 2K Samsung M16 LTPO OLED panel with a 165Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 10,000 nits, running on Android 17-based software.
