iQOO announces iQOO 16 smartphone and Pad Ultra tablet launch
iQOO has officially announced that its upcoming flagship smartphone, the iQOO 16, and the iQOO Pad Ultra tablet will be released at the end of September. The announcement was made by iQOO product manager Wang Kan, following the brand's recent success in the high-end Android market.
The iQOO 16 is expected to focus on three core areas: performance, visual quality, and design. It will reportedly feature a self-developed gaming chip, a new Monster super-core engine to maximize Snapdragon chipset potential, and a high-end display developed in collaboration with Samsung Display.
The iQOO Pad Ultra is being positioned as a new type of gaming device designed to bridge the gap between smartphones, tablets, and computers. Leaked specifications suggest the tablet may feature an 8.8-inch 2K OLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate, powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset. To support intensive gaming, the device is rumored to include an active cooling system and a large 9,000mAh battery.
