iQOO Neo12 to launch with 9,000mAh battery and Snapdragon 8 Elite

iQOO has announced the upcoming launch of the Neo12 smartphone, scheduled for release in China on October 28. The device is positioned as a performance-focused flagship featuring a massive 9,000mAh Blue Ocean battery. This battery utilizes fifth-generation silicon anode technology, achieving an energy density of 916Wh/L, which is a significant increase over the previous generation.

To support high-performance gaming, the Neo12 will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset alongside a proprietary Q3 gaming co-processor. The hardware is supported by an Ice-Dome cooling system that includes a visible active cooling fan integrated into the rear camera module. Other key specifications include a 2K AMOLED display with a 185Hz refresh rate and Global Direct Drive Power 2.0 technology, designed to manage heat and efficiency during charging.

The smartphone will be available in three color options: Fierce Edge, Shadow Black, and Frost Blade Blue.
