iQOO partners with Unreal Engine for mobile graphics

iQOO has announced a formal partnership with Epic Games to utilize Unreal Engine for mobile gaming development. The collaboration aims to bring console-level lighting and geometric detail to mobile devices.

The two teams will focus on exploring core technologies such as Lumen dynamic global illumination and Nanite virtualized geometry. By combining iQOO’s hardware and software optimization capabilities, including its proprietary Q-series gaming chips, with Unreal Engine’s graphics tools, the partnership seeks to bridge the visual gap between mobile games and PC or console titles.
