iQOO reveals first look at iQOO 16 flagship smartphone

iQOO, a gaming-focused subsidiary of Vivo, has revealed the first look at its upcoming flagship smartphone, the iQOO 16. The device is scheduled to launch in China by the end of September, with a potential release in India in October 2026.

The iQOO 16 is expected to feature the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro chipset, an in-house gaming chip, and a Monster Super Engine. Hardware specifications include a large battery ranging between 8,200mAh and 8,500mAh, 100W charging capabilities, and a 6.85-inch Samsung M16 OLED 2K+ 165Hz display.

Design elements revealed include a silver rear panel with iridescent geometric patterns, a metal frame, and a redesigned triple-camera setup that includes 100X zoom branding. Despite recent rumors regarding potential launch cancellations due to rising memory prices affecting major manufacturers, iQOO has proceeded with the announcement.
