iRacing announces Season 4 updates including Career Mode and Aston Martin Valkyrie
iRacing has announced significant updates for its Season 4 2026 release, which includes the introduction of a single-player Career Mode. This new mode will be included with the standard subscription, allowing players to access cars and tracks without additional purchases specifically for career progression. Access to content within this mode will be unlocked as players advance through seven different progression paths and will relock upon completion of specific racing weeks or seasons.
Key content additions feature the Aston Martin Valkyrie AMR-LMH, developed using real telemetry and engineering data. The update also introduces two Caterham models—the Academy and the 420R—available as a bundle. Other vehicle updates include a complete re-engineering of the Mazda MX-5 and the addition of the Gen 4 Grand National.
Track updates involve complete reconstructions of Road America, Mid-Ohio, and the Milwaukee Mile using new laser scans. Additionally, Summit Point will be rebuilt from scratch, and Road Atlanta will receive graphical refreshes including new asphalt textures and 3D curbing. The update also introduces a new multithreaded physics engine and advancements toward a new graphics engine.
