Recent electoral polling from Instituto Percent Brasil indicates that lawyer Irajá Lacerda (PSD) is a leading candidate in the race for the Chamber of Deputies. Lacerda currently holds 3.0% of the voting intention, placing him among the top contenders.
Other leading candidates include Fábio Garcia (União Brasil/PP) with 4.0%, Coronel Assis (PL) with 3.5%, and Coronel Fernanda (PL) with 3.3%. Lacerda, who does not currently hold a mandate, is noted for his previous role as executive secretary of the Ministry of Agriculture, which helped him build support across various regions beyond the Cuiabá and Cáceres areas.
