Iraklis announces basketball preseason schedule and football transfers

Iraklis is preparing for the upcoming season with updates regarding both its basketball and football departments.

The basketball team, led by Zoran Lukic, has announced a preseason schedule consisting of nine friendly matches. The program begins on August 31 with a closed-door match against Aris at Nick Galis Hall. Subsequent fixtures include games against Baskimi from Kosovo and AEK Larnaca on September 5 and 6, followed by a trip to Romania to face Valcea and Borac Chatcak. The team will conclude its preparations with home matches against Doxa Lefkosia, Aris, and Kolossos before the GBL and FIBA Europe Cup seasons begin in October.

In football, the club is finalizing several high-profile transfers to strengthen the roster managed by Walter Matsari. Portuguese forward Pedro Marques is currently in Athens to finalize his move after becoming a free agent from Apollon Limassol. Additionally, negotiations are advanced with Serbian midfielder Nemanja Radonjic, who brings extensive experience from La Liga. The club is also reportedly linked to Puerto Rican winger Jeremi De Leon on a potential loan deal.
