Iraklis signs Portuguese defender Eulânio “Nanu” Chipela Gomes

Greek Super League club PAE Iraklis announced the signing of 32‑year‑old right‑back Eulânio Ângelo Chipela Gomes, known as Nanu. The player, born 17 May 1994 in Portugal and standing 1.77 m tall, is a regular for the Guinea‑Bissau national team and has featured in three Africa Cup of Nations tournaments.

Nanu previously played for APOEL in Cyprus, FC Porto in Portugal (including UEFA Champions League appearances and a Portuguese Super Cup), FC Dallas in MLS, and stints with Santa Clara, Samsunspor and Estrela da Amadora. Iraklis described the deal as a major acquisition for the club and welcomed him to the “blue‑white” jersey.
