Iran announces upcoming retribution sentences for leaders' killers

Manouchehr Moteki, head of the Iranian parliamentary delegation at the 153rd Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) assembly, announced that Iranian courts are reviewing cases involving the deaths of the Supreme Leader, General Qasem Soleimani, and various scientists and military commanders. He stated that retribution sentences (qisas) for those responsible are expected to be issued soon.

Speaking in Tanzania, Moteki addressed the regional situation, criticizing Israeli actions in Gaza and describing the West Asian region as being caught in the aggression of an apartheid regime. He also referenced military actions involving the United States and Israel, claiming that such aggressions have targeted civilian infrastructure in Iran, including schools and hospitals.
