Iran begins compensation for household appliances damaged in 12-day war
Compensation payments for household appliances damaged during the 12-day war have officially commenced in Tehran. Yousef Mazarei, Director General of Follow-up and Response at the Presidency’s Public Communications Center, announced that Bimeh Iran has been designated as the entity responsible for managing these claims.
Due to government resource limitations, large state-owned companies will fund these compensations through their social responsibility budgets. The assessment process relies on data previously recorded by Tehran Municipality experts who visited damaged homes to document losses to buildings and belongings.
Payments are being determined based on the severity of the impact and documented evidence. The first group of affected families has already begun receiving compensation, and the process is expected to continue. Authorities are also reviewing claims from families affected by previous conflicts.
