Iran Chamber of Cooperatives discusses Justice Shares dividends and liberalization

Bahman Abdollahi, head of the Iran Chamber of Cooperatives, announced that the government is working to distribute a portion of the 1404 Justice Shares (Saham Edalat) profits during Government Week, which runs from August 24 to August 30.

Dividends for the current year are expected to be paid in two installments, mid-year and year-end, with officials stating that profit levels have not seen a significant decrease compared to last year. Despite some businesses under the scheme facing challenges due to conflict, the necessary resources for these payments have been collected.

Additionally, progress has been reported regarding the liberalization of Justice Shares. Following more than 20 meetings of the Supreme Stock Exchange Council and legal reviews, the guidelines for the offering of these shares have been sent to the Parliament for final approval to establish a legal path for asset liberalization.
