Iran Civil Aviation head denies reports of unauthorized aircraft in airspace
Abuzar Shiroudi, the head of the Civil Aviation Organization of Iran, has denied claims that 30 enemy aircraft entered Iranian airspace 30 minutes prior to an attack on the leadership house.
Shiroudi stated that there are no written or oral reports regarding such an incident within the Civil Aviation Organization, the airport company, or the national airspace control center. He emphasized that if such reports existed, the organization would have made them public.
Responding to claims made by an individual allegedly identified as a Mehrabad Airport controller, Shiroudi noted that even if such aircraft were capable of being tracked, such matters fall under military jurisdiction rather than civilian aviation oversight.
