Iran claims missile production exceeds usage following military strikes

Iranian officials claim that the country has successfully restored and expanded its domestic missile production following recent conflicts. Mohammad Reza Naqdi, a senior advisor to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Commander-in-Chief, stated in a state television broadcast that the production rate of ballistic missiles currently exceeds their operational launch rate.

Despite previous military strikes aimed at degrading Iran’s defense industrial sector, officials assert that hundreds of manufacturing locations and missile sites remain intact. Naqdi emphasized that the manufacturing process is continuous and that Iran does not rely solely on existing stockpiles, suggesting the military can sustain production even during prolonged conflict.

Reports indicate that Tehran utilized recent ceasefire periods to bolster its weapons arsenal. The rapid resurgence of these capabilities has led observers to reassess the long-term impact of previous strikes on Iran’s military infrastructure and may influence ongoing geopolitical negotiations and ceasefire sustainability.
