Mohsen Rezaei, Secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council, has announced that Tehran has conveyed a formal set of conditions to the United States via Qatari and Pakistani mediators to end the ongoing conflict. Iran is currently awaiting a response from President Donald Trump regarding these terms.

Tehran’s primary conditions for re-engaging in diplomacy and ending the war include a cessation of hostilities on all fronts, the release of frozen Iranian assets, and the lifting of the U.S. naval blockade. Rezaei emphasized that while Iran remains committed to its nuclear doctrine and the fatwa against nuclear weapons, the country’s future stance regarding the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT) depends on the conduct of Washington and Israel.

In a show of military readiness, Rezaei noted that Iran recently conducted an anti-ship missile test near a U.S. aircraft carrier and warned that any attack on Iran would result in immediate retaliation against U.S. bases and interests in the region. Meanwhile, President Masoud Pezeshkian reiterated that Iran is not seeking nuclear weapons, citing its NPT membership as evidence of its peaceful intentions.

Separately, the Iranian judiciary confirmed the execution of a man, Hossein Pedaran, who was accused of spying for Israel’s Mossad.
