Iran denies nuclear activity at Gazla mountain amid U.S. threats

Iran has denied allegations of nuclear activity at Gazla mountain, dismissing threats from U.S. President Donald Trump to bomb the site. Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Ismail Bagaei characterized the claims as a “media and psychological war” by the United States, stating that the accusations lack foundation. Bagaei noted that Iran has communicated all necessary information regarding activities and constructions at the site to the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).

In a separate statement, Iran’s acting Defense Minister, Brigadier General Mayid Ibn al-Reza, asserted that the country’s defense industry has advanced significantly. He stated that Iran would be “much more technologically advanced” in any future conflict compared to previous wars. Ibn al-Reza dismissed recurring U.S. threats as political rhetoric lacking genuine military credibility, suggesting they stem from intelligence failures rather than strength.
