Iran economic updates: Housing loan costs and commodity prices

Various economic indicators and commodity prices in Iran have been updated for mid-September 2026.

The cost of housing facility certificates has risen, with the price of a single ‘Tase 1405’ certificate reaching 91,488 Tomans. Consequently, applicants seeking the maximum 2.4 billion Toman housing loan in Tehran must now spend approximately 439 million Tomans to purchase the required 4,800 certificates, representing a 4.8 percent increase in costs.

In the digital asset market, the price of Tether was reported at 229,500 Tomans. Additionally, market updates were provided for several essential commodities, including cement, live livestock, and red meat prices.
