Iran Energy Minister announces resolution of power issues
Iran's Minister of Energy, Abbas Aliabadi, has announced that national electricity issues, including those in Bushehr province, will soon be resolved through ongoing development projects and the efforts of domestic specialists. During visits to various facilities, including the inauguration of a 10 MW solar power plant and the commencement of operations for a 132/20 kV substation in Asaluyeh, Aliabadi emphasized the strategic importance of the power industry for future development and smart grid integration.
The Minister also highlighted the success of the ‘Noor Fund’ share offering, noting that 5,000 billion tomans worth of shares related to solar power projects were sold within six hours. This initiative aims to distribute the profits from solar energy investments directly to the public. Aliabadi urged citizens to continue practicing efficient electricity consumption to assist the Ministry in managing current conditions.
