Iran expands aviation network with new international routes
Iran is expanding its international and domestic flight networks through new and resumed routes.
In Bushehr, flights between Bushehr and Dubai are scheduled to commence on September 11, initially operating once a week on Fridays. The expansion also includes increased capacity for domestic routes; Ata Airlines will add flights to the Bushehr-Tehran-Mashhad route. These additions are expected to bring the total number of weekly flights at Bushehr Airport to 40.
Additionally, Tehran has resumed weekly flights to Tunis. Operating from Imam Khomeini International Airport, the service is now scheduled for Saturdays. This resumption aims to strengthen international connections and facilitate tourism and economic interactions between Iran and Tunisia.
