Iran expands defense production, emphasizing air and naval capabilities

Lieutenant General Seyyed Majid Ibn Reza, deputy minister of Iran's Ministry of Defense and Logistics, announced that the country's defense industry is operating at its most active level yet. He said production lines are being expanded, with a strategic focus on strengthening air and naval forces.

Reza emphasized that the sector's most valuable assets are domestic scientists, engineers, and managers, and that recent attacks on strategic facilities have not hindered development. He highlighted the need for rapid conversion of battlefield challenges into indigenous technologies, integrating air, sea, land, space and electronic warfare capabilities, and noted the growing role of unmanned aerial systems worldwide.
