Iran Finance Minister outlines Pezeshkian's economic reform strategy

Iran's Minister of Economic Affairs and Finance, Seyyed Ali Madanizadeh, has outlined the economic reform approach of President Masoud Pezeshkian. The strategy focuses on decision-making courage, building consensus among ministers, experts, and economic actors, and prioritizing public livelihoods.

Key pillars of the administration's economic agenda include eliminating rent-seeking, combating corruption, and establishing justice. To support these goals, the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Finance is working toward implementing data-driven governance, a mission intended to yield gradual results as the process is completed.

Madanizadeh also noted the President's commitment to maintaining political processes during difficult times, citing his decision to proceed with the parliamentary confidence vote despite the onset of conflict during the confirmation period.
