Iran focuses on Isfahan development and wildlife conservation

In Isfahan province, Iranian officials are focusing on regional development and wildlife conservation. Abdolkarim Hosseinzadeh, Vice President for Rural and Deprived Area Development, announced plans to integrate the needs of Nayin and Khorobiabanak into the national planning and budgeting system. During a visit to eastern Isfahan, discussions centered on developing tourism capacities, improving infrastructure, addressing water tension, and reviving traditional qanats.

Separately, environmental monitoring in Dashtestan has successfully recorded the presence of the Iranian leopard. Experts noted that the repeated sightings of this apex predator, captured via camera traps, indicate healthy ecological conditions, sufficient food resources, and habitat security in the region. Continuous monitoring is being emphasized to protect biodiversity and mitigate human pressure on these habitats.
