Iran Football Federation warns four clubs over VAR technical issues

Mohsen Hakim, head of the VAR department of the Football Federation of the Islamic Republic of Iran, has issued a warning to four Premier League clubs regarding technical deficiencies in their stadium filming systems. The issues include poor quality from certain IRIB cameras, problems with camera operators, and limitations in supplementary cameras assigned to the VAR system.

The federation has called for immediate action from Khaybar Khorramabad, Nassaji Mazandaran, Malavan Bandar Anzali, and Shams Azar Qazvin, along with their respective provincial IRIB centers, to improve filming quality and provide specialized personnel and necessary equipment.

If these technical deficiencies are not resolved and the stadium conditions are not approved by the VAR department, home matches for these clubs may be held without the use of the VAR system. The host clubs will bear responsibility for any consequences resulting from the failure to meet these technical and executive requirements.
